At WindSong at Southridge, we had a unique situation to open during a pandemic. I say “Unique” rather than challenging because that is how we view it. Our residents are being admitted and then unable to see their families, go on outings (much), or even get their hair cut! We are living in very challenging times and our residents feel that. So how do we find socially distanced activities? How do we bring purpose to a world of uncertainty and change? We have had to change our mindset and our Montessori to meet the current needs of our residents. This is Gen, and she loves doing hair! This mannequin head brings her much joy and purpose.
